What is Dragonfly Meadow?
Dragonfly Meadow is a small holding of 128 acres, which is being developed to be a profitable enterprise under three key principles.
Regenerative Agriculture: Improving the land thru agriculture use. Without the use of industrial farming additives and pesticides.
Transparent Farming: Providing a clear and honest view of our farming practices, so consumers can judge their quality and ethics. Instead of leveraging certifications.
Value Adding: Producing high value product, and where possible adding value at the farm gate. Instead of just being another supplier to the generic mass production chain.
To achieve these goals we will be utilising this site, and other social media to document our choices, successes and failures and products.
Soon we will being publishing beekeeping articles as it will be the first layer of farm development plan. From Sept 2020, after a couple of years of learning we will be building up our hive numbers to produce more of our beautiful raw honey.
